Privacy Policy

1. Who this covers

This policy applies to ugsee.app and related product surfaces (accounts, dashboards, APIs, and media uploads). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use ugsee, we may collect:

• Account data: name, email address, profile image (if provided by you or your sign-in provider), and authentication records.
• Sign-in providers: Google OAuth and email magic links (via Resend). We receive the identity information those providers share for authentication.
• Workspace content you enter: brands, campaigns, deliverables, notes, payment and invoice details you record, follow-up history, and similar business records.
• Media files: images and videos you upload for deliverables, plus related metadata (file name, size, type, versions, approval state). Files are stored in object storage (Cloudflare R2).
• Billing entitlement: plan cadence and subscription status needed to control product access. If you pay through a payment processor, card details are handled by that processor, not stored as raw card numbers on ugsee servers.
• Usage and device data: approximate analytics such as page views and performance signals (for example via Vercel Analytics), plus standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) used for security and reliability.

3. How we use information

• Provide, secure, and improve the product
• Authenticate you and keep your workspace private to your account
• Send transactional messages (sign-in links, account notices)
• Process entitlements and, when enabled, billing
• Diagnose bugs, prevent abuse, and understand product usage
• Respond when you contact us

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your deliverable media to train public AI models.

4. When we share information

We share data only as needed to run ugsee, including with service providers under contractual obligations, such as:

• Hosting and database providers
• Cloudflare (media storage and related edge services)
• Google (authentication when you choose Google sign-in)
• Resend (transactional email / magic links)
• Vercel (hosting and analytics)
• Payment processors, when billing is enabled

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer (with notice when reasonably possible).

5. Retention and security

We keep account and workspace data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for backups, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or security. Uploaded media is retained until you delete it or close the related records, subject to backup windows.

We use industry-standard safeguards (HTTPS, access controls, and provider security features). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access or export personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated personal data
• Object to or restrict certain processing

7. Cookies and similar tech

We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in sessions and essential product function. Analytics may use first-party or privacy-oriented measurement that does not rely on invasive advertising trackers. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break sign-in.

8. Children

ugsee is built for professional creators and business use. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. If you access ugsee from elsewhere, you understand your information may be transferred to those locations.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice when appropriate (for example in-product or by email).
